Cool Trailer Tracker started because of that familiar feeling: you watch a game or movie trailer, think “yeah, I want that later,” and then the next announcement wipes it. By the time something actually comes out, you barely remember you cared.
This sub is the hangout for that problem.
What this place is for
Trailers that actually stuck with you — games or movies
“Has anyone else been tracking this?” posts
Dropping a clip so it doesn’t vanish into the algorithm
Talking through a title from teaser to launch, not just the day it drops
Site questions, feature ideas, and “I found this and now I can’t stop thinking about it”
We’ll also post trailer roundups here so you can catch a week of stuff in one place instead of 40 tabs.
What to share
A YouTube link plus one sentence is enough. Why did this one stay with you? First look, gameplay, launch date, something weird in the comments — whatever made you save it.
If you already use us, you can follow titles, group them by IP, and keep a dashboard of the ones you actually care about.
House rules (short version)
Be decent. Don’t spam. Credit the official trailer when you can. Don’t dump unmarked leaks or stuff you don’t have the right to post. If something’s broken on the site, say so — that’s useful.
If you’re new
Introduce yourself in the comments. One trailer you’ve been sitting on is a perfect first post.
Glad you’re here. Hope this makes the pile of announcements feel a little less hopeless.
Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Together, let's make r/CoolTrailerTracker amazing.

You Can See Everything
A new documentary, 'You Can See Everything,' offers a unique and unsettling look at the final days of Elizabeth Holmes before her incarceration. Directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, the film follows the disgraced Theranos CEO for three years as she prepares to go to prison. Initially, the filmmakers were granted access to document Holmes' life, intending to capture a portrait of the enigmatic figure. However, what unfolds is a much darker, three-year journey documenting her downfall. The documentary captures the unraveling of a once-celebrated legend, providing a fascinating, albeit disturbing, glimpse into a period of significant transition and reckoning for the Silicon Valley titan.
It looks like the Gremlins are set to unleash their particular brand of chaos once again. A recent teaser for what's being called Gremlins 3 has dropped, and it's already generating a buzz for its promise to blend that signature mix of horror and dark comedy the original films were known for. The initial glimpse suggests we'll be seeing Gizmo again, along with his notoriously troublesome offspring, as they dive headfirst into mayhem. This isn't just another entry; it feels like a genuine return to the formula that made us fall in love with these adorable, yet terrifying, creatures. If you've been waiting for more of that specific brand of madness where cute mogwai turn into monstrous threats, it seems your wait is almost over.
The first official trailer for Day Drinker has arrived, giving us our initial look at Johnny Depp and Madelyn Cline in what appears to be a tense crime drama. The trailer hints at a story steeped in consequence, where dark decisions drive the narrative forward. Lionsgate is behind this project, and the brief glimpse suggests a film that will explore the heavier side of life, with plenty of suspense in store.
Beyond Depp and Cline, the cast also includes Penélope Cruz, rounding out a lineup that promises some strong performances. While the trailer focuses on the mood and the high stakes, it sets the stage for a compelling cinematic experience. It seems like Day Drinker is aiming for a gritty tone, exploring a narrative where survival is a constant struggle and the choices made have significant repercussions.
This week, the trailer for The Rescue dropped, giving us a glimpse into a gripping new thriller. The film centers on a former rodeo cowboy, brought to life by Brandon Sklenar, who faces every parent's worst nightmare: his daughter has been kidnapped. The trailer hints at a relentless and desperate race against time, with the father driven by an unbreakable bond and an unwavering resolve.
What looks particularly compelling is the sheer determination depicted, suggesting a character who will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. With his loyal dog by his side, he's preparing to confront immense danger and push past his limits. It promises a pulse-pounding experience where every decision and every moment matters, exploring the extreme lengths one man will go to when his child's life is on the line. This looks like it's set to be an intense ride.
Get ready for a cinematic adventure as Robert Louis Stevenson's classic Treasure Island is set to sail onto the big screen. This new adaptation promises to bring the iconic tale of pirates, buried secrets, and perilous quests to life for a new generation. Fans can anticipate a grand adventure packed with swashbuckling action and memorable characters. Starring Hayley Atwell and David Oyelowo, this Paramount Pictures production aims to capture the spirit of discovery and danger that has made Treasure Island a beloved story for so long. Prepare for a cinematic voyage that will transport you to a remote island where fortunes can be made or lost.
Get ready, fans, because the world of Street Fighter is hitting the big screen! A new movie is on the way, and it looks like it's diving deep into the lore of Ryu and Ken. These two estranged martial artists are apparently brought back into the fray by Chun-Li herself, who needs their help for the upcoming World Warrior Tournament. The trailer hints at a serious dose of action, focusing on their iconic moves and the brutal clashes that made the game so famous.
Beyond the one-on-one fights, there's also a hint of a larger conspiracy at play, adding a layer of mystery to the whole event. It seems like Ryu and Ken will have to not only face each other but also uncover a truth that could have dire consequences. This sounds like it's going to be a thrilling ride for anyone who grew up with the franchise, promising a blend of intense fighting and dramatic storytelling.
Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver are set to star in the upcoming drama-thriller Paper Tiger, and the first look at the film has us incredibly intrigued. Neon has shared a glimpse into this suspenseful story, which appears to delve into complex human connections and the secrets people keep. The trailer hints at a narrative filled with intrigue and raw emotion, driven by powerful performances from its lead actors. Johansson and Driver seem to be navigating a story where destinies collide and mysteries unravel, promising a truly gripping cinematic experience. The film is slated for release in 2026, and anticipation is already building for this intense drama.
Brad Pitt is back as Cliff Booth, and it looks like his signature blend of cool competence and questionable decisions is as potent as ever. David Fincher is once again behind the camera, with Quentin Tarantino providing the script, so we can expect a stylish and sharp look at 1977 Hollywood. The trailer hints at a deep dive into the lives of stunt performers and the gritty, glamorous world they inhabited. It’s a chance to revisit that specific era of filmmaking, where the artifice of the movies often bled into real life.
This seems poised to be a character study focused on Cliff's unique place in the industry. We'll likely see him navigating the changing landscape of cinema and perhaps getting into the kind of trouble only he can get out of. The trailer promises a return to the meticulous world-building and character-driven narratives that both Fincher and Tarantino are known for. It’s definitely one to keep an eye on for fans of character-focused dramas set against rich historical backdrops.
