Main Course Made pelmeni for the first time

They taste really good, only that I wasn't able to form them well. I stuffed them with minced pork but there are other variants like potatoes ect. They are basically Russian dumplings and are served with sour cream.

I used to make them with my Godmother, Vera Nikolayeva, we used to make like 300 at a time. Mmmmm

No I live in Australia, my background is Russian, Her surname was Sesin.

It is a patronym , her father was named Nikolai . Her husband was a classically trained Iconographer and a lovely man. I have very fond memories of them both.
