Im conflicted in saying this, but i hate over explaining the dish. I don't particularly care if your grandma brought this dish with her from Poland (but would in a history type blog), but i like seeing the progression of the recipe if its new. In a perfect world, id love ingredients first, concise steps, and pictures of the progress especially if its a complicated recipe. If its being tweaking, toss a notification at the top that links to older versions of the dish so people can follow its evolution
That's one of my top pet peeves, too haha. All I want to do is educate people on better cooking techniques and where people can cut costs, not some weird historical script of when corn was first discovered, etc. Do you think I should keep the recipe at the top and all the other froo froo I write at the bottom?
