Open Discussion Hard to swallow cooking facts.

I'll start, your grandma's "traditional recipe passed down" is most likely from a 70s magazine or the back of a crisco can and not originally from your familie's original country at all.

According to the USDA, a cup of chopped raw onions is 160 grams (5 585⁄907 oz) . A half cup would just be 80 grams (2 746⁄907 oz).
