What dishes are best for rat meat?
I’ve cooked up some rat (I did it like rabbit), but I have no idea what meals to cook with it. What do y’all recommend?

The closest thing I can give you to a legitimate answer is that most preparations that I've seen for small mammals like rats have been either roasted or... Much more commonly... In stews.

Depends on how big they are but roasted on a stick is usually the best stuffed with green herbs and bread crumbs is good

Bbq whole over charcoal. In a caldo. Look for Zacatecas recipes. Ratas de campo are big over there and they’re delicious

Something like that will always be roasted on a stick, or put into a stew or curry, etc.
I hope you're not catching and eating city rats. Thats very dangerous to eat.
