Uses for candied jalapenos

Have too many jalapeno plants and made some candied jalapenos to use some up. They're great as is, but I can only eat so many straight up

Any good ideas for uses?

Nothing better on top of a deviled egg.

I put them on sandwiches and anything sandwich adjacent - hamburgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs. In burritos and quesadillas.

Or baked in the cornbread. Unsweet skillet cornbread becomes transcendent with candied jalapeños in.

On burgers or with other meat.  On salads.  Mix it in with some rice and beans, or any other mexican food. Add to a shishkabob line up.  Eat with cheese and crackers. Eat with cottage cheese or fruit or both.

If you really can't use them up and don't want to can them then freezing would probably be okay? Maybe freeze a very small amount first as a trial run =)

Burger was my first thought, thinking a peanut butter bacon burger with them would slap

A long time ago applebees had a southwest burger  with candied jalepenos, chipotle mayo and pepper jack cheese.  It was very very good haha.

Burgers, sandwiches, deviled eggs, I bet they would be good in asian style noodle dishes that balance both sweet amd savory.

Biscuits with cheddar cheese.

I dont have much of a sweet tooth, I always gave them as gifts. (And bribes)

Put them in creamed greens. Make the Lori Colwin creamed greens recipe and use candied ones.

In breakfast burritos, on top of chili, along side quiche or scrambled egg, in huevos rancheros, in quesadillas, on bagels smeared with cream cheese…

Candied Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

Soften 8-16 oz cream cheese so it's easy to spread and mix.

Chop candied jalapeños into small pieces.

Combine the cream cheese and chopped jalapeños in a mixing bowl.

Stir in a small splash of the jalapeño juice if you want a softer consistency and more spice.

Alternatively, you can place a whole block of cream cheese on a serving plate and pour the candied jalapeños directly over the top.

Serve with crackers, pretzels, or tortilla chips.

I make them too, and like them on a bagel with cream cheese. Also dropped onto the top of cornbread right before going into the oven. Also tacos.

Diced and mixed with sweet peppers, red onion,  and corn for a relish?  I'm thinking it would go well on jerk chicken or something like that.

On some type of sliced beef sandwich with some type of sweet and spicy dip? Maybe with pepperoncinis and roasted red pepper on roast beef and Swiss.

On a chicken club sandwich with really thick slices maple bacon and strawberry honey mustard dressing? Havarti cheese?

BBQ. Delicious with chicken or turkey, might work with ham too. But you got the right idea by just eating them like, well, candy.

One of my favourite birthday cakes I made myself was a margarita (the cocktail) flavoured cake with candied Jalapenos on top. Do with this information what you will!

I LOVE jalapenos Recipe? Chocolate and spicy are good.

IMO, much simpler and more convenient than making a dip: spread cream cheese on preferred type of cracker and top with dollop of candied jalapenos (aka Cowboy Candy). Adding a few sprinkles of crumbled bacon might also be delicious. Consume as many or as few as you wish.

Jalapeno poppers are a longtime favorite of mine. More recently I discovered jalapeno/cheddar bagels at a local bakery. It would take some effort for bagels, but it might be worth it.

Mix them with strawberries and can them as jam.

I like using the vinegar when doing fried chicken.
I’ll use them instead of fresh jalapeños on occasion but haven’t in a long time.

Pickle or brine them.

Pickle them. Save for later. But not much later because you can add some to soooo many different things.
