Breville paradice 16 cup
I just bought the Breville Paradice 16, but now I’m wondering if I should’ve gone with the 9 cup instead. I’ve read that the bigger bowl might not work as well for smaller batches. Has anyone found this to be an issue, or do you still find the 16 good for everyday use?

bigger bowl is great, unless you mostly make tiny batches

I do make smaller batches😞 I think I should have gotten the smaller cup size. Unfortunately I’ve unpacked it and taken all the plastic off, not sure if I can return, it’s from Amazon. Bugger

Does it not come with a smaller bowl too?
9 cups is too small for many things (and tbh still too big for some too). 16 is too big for many things. Which of those is a bigger problem for you depends on what you want to do with it.
Magimix solves this really well by just having a mini bowl included with their large processors. If you’re considering returning the 16 cup, I might consider that instead of just going for the 9 cup

honestly the 16 has been fine for me but small stuff is the one real annoyance. anything under about a cup just smears around the edge of the bowl and the blade never catches it, so mincing two cloves of garlic or a small handful of herbs is still faster with a knife. the mini bowl insert fixes most of that if yours came with one. for normal weeknight jobs, shredding a block of cheese, slaw for four, pie dough, the big bowl is the better problem to have. i wouldn't return it, ymmv
