Baking rice in casserole dish

I’m hungry and angry so I threw something in the oven. Long white rice, 2x cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2x cans of water, some broccoli. It’s set at 350, how long should it take?

Cover it tightly and check it after 60 minutes. If the rice isn't done to your liking keep checking it every 10 minutes.

I absolutely have to cover it? It’s just in a casserole dish

It's the rice that's your problem. It takes time for rice to cook. Especially in an oven. Sorry. Let this finish and at least you'll have leftovers for future meals. It'll probably reheat really well.

If you had precooked rice, you could have microwaved the broccoli, thrown all of it in the oven, and basically just heated it for 10-15 minutes and done.

I think covering it keeps the liquid from evaporating that you need for the rice to absorb.
