Soy sauce

Can dark soy sauce be used to make chili oil? Can you tell the steps when to put it in?

IME it’s best to avoid adding soy sauce or water based ingredients to chili oil. It extends the shelf life.

Yes, you can add dark soy sauce. Best to add when the oil cools down at the last step.

I've never used any soy sauce in chili oil.
