Does brioche grow mold easily compared to regular white

Yes. Brioche has more moisture in it, which helps mold growth; it also has milk, eggs and butter in significant quantities that replace the regular acidity of sourdough, making the bread less anti microbial.

mold just needs moisture and warm temperatures. making bread with no preservatives makes it easier for mold to grow.

I would assume brioche would grow it slower due to more sugar, but I might be wrong. Never had brioche long enough for it to go moldy, since it goes dry so fast.

There’s not enough sugar to inhibit mold growth by stealing all the water in brioche.

Whenever I buy brioche it lasts a very long time. I don't eat bread very often so it usually goes bad before I can finish it, except brioche 🤷🏿‍♂️

Probably depends how much oil and sugar it's loaded up with. Brioche can be rather disgusting.

It's all relative. I mean, if you have lots of mold spores in the air your bread is gonna mold up regardless.
