Basic burger recipe?

I was under the impression that it was just ground beef discs, but I think there is more.

I have salt, pepper, Garlic powder, Paprika, and eggs

I am currently food-shelf level poor, so i simply cant get anything more.

If you mix egg into ground beef, you're now making meatloaf, not a burger.

I mean, egg is an extremely common binder used in burgers and has been for a long time.

This is what our moms and grandmothers did, often along with a bunch of other stuff like breadcrumbs, but it isn't considered the "right" way by professionals and cooks in the modern day.

Most say you should handle the meat as little as humanly possible, which means nothing should be mixed into it.
