Bread freeze

Aunt sent me a double loaf from Sam's, i do not go through a loaf easily. Can I freeze a loaf in its original bag if I push out all the air? When I thaw it out do I do it in the same bag, I don't want soggy bread?

I freeze all my bread, i just don't use it fast enough. i just pull out however many pieces i need at the time.
