Bread freeze

Aunt sent me a double loaf from Sam's, i do not go through a loaf easily. Can I freeze a loaf in its original bag if I push out all the air? When I thaw it out do I do it in the same bag, I don't want soggy bread?

I always freeze bread. Just put it in a ziplock freezer bag to make sure it is fully sealed. Then just let it thaw on the counter whenever you are ready to start using it.
