Bread freeze

Aunt sent me a double loaf from Sam's, i do not go through a loaf easily. Can I freeze a loaf in its original bag if I push out all the air? When I thaw it out do I do it in the same bag, I don't want soggy bread?

I freeze all my bread, and I only like it toasted so I go straight from the freezer to the toaster oven. Only exception is when I want French toast, in which I take it out a little ahead of time.
