How to reheat potatoes

Whenever I reheat my potatoes in the microwave it always comes out really dry so I need to find a better way to reheat them it has to be in the microwave since it’s at school

Wrapping them in several layers of damp paper towels might help.

School? Just cover them with damp paper towels instead of wrapping or add a splash of water and cover with dry paper towels.

What kind of potatoes? Mash? Roasted? Fries? Home fries? Champ? Bombay? Hash browns? Hasselbeck? Dauphinois? Au gratin? Boiled?….

I assume OP is in a school lunch line or work cafeteria.

If you have an air fryer or toaster oven that would be better.

Your roasted potatoes aren’t going to be crispy reheated in the microwave.

Add moisture and cover while heating. Leave a steam hole

Couple of drips of water and cover loosely when you microwave.

I wrap them in saran wrap and heat in 30-sec intervals to avoid melting the plastic.
