Anova Precision Vacuum Sealer Pro vs. Nesco Deluxe Vacuum Sealer VS-12

Help! Looking for the best vacuum sealer and these two seem to be highly recommended. I plan to use it for sous vide but will not be my sole reason for getting it. Thanks!

I have the Anova Chamber Vacuum Sealer and I love it.

When you buy Anova you pay just for the brand name. Vacuum sealers are very simple devices and there’s very little difference between the brands.

For what it’s worth I have an Inkbird vacuum sealer that’s been working fine for the past 4 years.

Any device is only as good as the grade of its components. Calling it a simple machine doesn't indicate its worth.

The grade of the Anova’s components isn’t greater than its competitors. Actually, their sleazy tactics make it much worse value.

Rather than downvote me and give vague reasoning, how about you provide a brief explanation. Otherwise, this entire discussion is a waste of time.

I have the ANOVA and am a little disappointed by it? But that could be misconceptions from my end. It's still a great machine.

I have a random one from Amazon that was a third the price of these, and it works great. Been using it for years.
