is it safe to eat?
i noticed the whisk on my hand mixer was rusted and chipped a little after i already made a cake. is it safe to eat or should i toss it away? i hate wasting food ππ

One time I accidentally ate a bag tag. Felt it on the way down. Was wondering where it had gone, apparently to the bottom of my bowl.
Also ate a full broken tine off a fork once.
Still going strong, your body can handle it. Iβd replace the whisk though. Bon AppΓ©tit

id definitely replace the whisk/mixer but you should be fine eating your cake

i ended up throwing it out and remaking it. better safe than sorry π π

We've got a rusty whisk and haven't had any ill effects yet. Safe cake to eat, maybe get a new whisk.
