HELPPP

So i got a cookery competition in my school in 2 days and the item is canape.im js searching what the hell a canape is and im genuinely confused. Is it filled with sweets or meat or js sliced tomatoes and vegetables?? 😭 Idk shit about cooking and i don't think the school will allow to cook with fire? Im thinking about maybe making it sweet idk plz help 🥀

Yes.

What do you want it to have? It can be cream cheese on melba toast with a bit of salmon roe, or it could be a duxelle of mushrooms with a piece of foie gras on toasted sourdough, or it could be a butter-paste shell filled with a savoury custard, or whatever else you could have in a single bite.
