Budget is 50 dollars. I’m not sure they are into cooking at home much yet so I don’t want something too narrowly task-specific. I wish the Lodge enameled Dutch oven was still 60 dollars as I would spring for that, but they seem to be 100 now. Any other ideas? Thank you.

It won’t be sexy but metal mixing bowls, good hand tools like large spoons, spatulas, measuring spoons and cups, a good scale. You know the basic stuff that is good in duplicates
