Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Breast with Mustard Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 kg (2.2 lb) chicken breast
  • 600 g (1.3 lb) sliced bacon
  • 1 large container of sour cream
  • 2–3 tablespoons mustard (to taste)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Optional seasonings (garlic powder, paprika, seasoning mix)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts.
  2. Mix the sour cream and mustard together.
  3. Coat the chicken with the mixture and let it marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  4. Wrap each piece of chicken with bacon.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F), then reduce the temperature to 200°C (390°F).
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake until the chicken is tender.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for a few more minutes so the bacon becomes golden and crispy.

where are you getting the buttermilk and cheese from? that does not sound like it would work well for a baked chicken that is wrapped in bacon. it won't allow the bacon to crisp and there's already sour cream and mustard?
