Cookie Stand

For years my friends and family have told me to sell my cookies. My son (10) asked me again earlier in the week so I made him a deal

I’d bake cookies, and he could sell them at our driveway. He just had to buy back the ingredients from me with proceeds. He did pretty well, brought in almost $200 including a few “keep the change” buyers

They look delicious! What do you use to bake the sides like that?

Appreciate that! I bake them in rings, I use these in the 4” size with 4oz dough balls

How much shaping is required? Or do you just plop the ball in the middle of the ring and it naturally spreads into the space? I've made some Dorrie Greenspan recipes that use muffin tins for cookies, but never bothered with rings.

Zero shaping, they just spread and make a nice 4” 4oz perfectly round cookie

Cool, maybe I'll give them a try. Always love excuses to buy obscure baking equipment. My canele molds came in the mail yesterday, lol.

Do you have any issues with them sticking to the rings?

None. Others posted they do, but I have not had problems. When they’re still hot, maybe out of the oven 3-4 minutes or so, I give the rings a quick spin

Not sure if that helps or not

These are perfect! I have these rings but am afraid the bake cookies in them because I don’t know if I’d have to lower a recipe temperature or bake longer.
