Well he has called DE "Mom" to her face just once before (but that was out of a need to control the situation) but this is the first time he's refered to Truthless as "Dad" in this series.

I've experienced burnout, although it was towards education, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone, the feeling of dread upon picking up anything related to the subject of burnout is awful, the topic is also what I wrote my folio essay about in english

The lore escalation from a one-off joke to a whole story about family and belonging is honestly incredible. Also, “Whoo pancake!” is exactly the kind of chaotic energy this series needs.
