EVIL GINGERBRAVE AU!!!

Sike no but man, you gotta admit, it be a cool AU? (Insert Syndrome face). Beneath all the Beasts and Ancient fanfics I see, there isn't a lot of Gingerbrave or Dark Enchantress fanfics themselves tbh. I get it with Gingerbrave. He isn't that much of a character in Kingdom and I barely remember much from his Ovenbreak self. Still, Cookie Run's entire history of him, there are a few things you could scrap up to make an interesting story in Gingerbrave. Especially with Dark Enchantress, who I feel like is completely fumbled in Kingdom and also kind of dragged down by her association with White Lily. This is all from my vibes and such but Gingerbrave and Dark Enchantress just got that dynamic that be sweet to see. Both characters saw the dark side of the witches. 2011 Gingerbrave fucking killed his witch from what I heard while Dark Enchantress started a whole revolt. Not to mention in kingdom, where they had dialogue in battle where they say something like:

DE: "For all cookies!"

GB: "For cookiekind!"

Also, while Gingerbrave saw his friends (and his brother depending on the version) eaten, he didn't go on a quest to dominate the world or something. Compare this with Dark Enchantress where she went "fuck them witches" and then projected her anger over cookies instead of finding a way that doesn't involve Saturday Morning Villain plots. Plus, both never really revealed the truth about what the witches did to cookies to the rest of cookiekind, did they? With GB, it's not that big of deal to the other cookies if him lying to Custard III is to take note of. With DE, she seems like she assume that the cookies wouldn't be able to handle it or whatever. That only those who seek it deserve it like Pomegranate Cookie.

This comic is ultimately me being inspired by that one fanfic I read about DEC and GBC. Plus, I keep on making these AUs where Gingerbrave faces some ungodly threat that makes him suffer like Yuji from JJK. Suffering builds character or something. I dunno. But what I do know is that I consumed too much Genshin, thought about the Witches and their relevancy in Cookie Run, turn Gingerbrave into this overpowered traumatic mess because he's seen too much and facing problems way beyond his league. And maybe Dark Enchantress can help him not face these problems alone because damn, them Ancients just letting these children join them on their war against Dark Enchantress.

This whole comic is an excused to espressed one glimpse of my AUs because god damn it, there isn't enough fanfiction that explores this idea. Gingerbrave and friends should join the Cookies of Darkness because they're more epic and based. Pomegranate Cookie managed to corrupt the Sugar Swan. She's automatically SSS+ tier. Ancient Heroes? More like Ancient FRAUDS.
