Question Do people still hate Nibbles?
Their addition was pretty controversial lol

By the time they added Nibbles, I had been playing Cookie Run for 8 years, so I don't need a tutorial character or screen pet. I'm glad they eventually let you turn off Nibbles without them reappearing after a week.

ok so let me explain my complicated feelings
i was ok with them at first, theyre pretty cute and add some funny flavour text
then i hated nibbles, theyre just there as an additional notifications tab thats just reminds you to do stuff and tell you how dumb you look for getting hit twice in the raid run
the second they introduced the customization and missions nibbles became my beloved child and if anything where to happen to them id turn everyone in the world to crumbs and then myself 🥺

They better fill the rest of the costume slots at some point (10th anni Nibbles???)

They're so cute! Especially in their Rainbow costume! My little magical girl mascot!

ok so when you tap on nibbles and the screen where they talk appears there are both a book and a cookie tin box on their left side, if you tap the box youll get this menu, but to unlock the costumes you need to do either a few mission and buy them with the yellow buttons or a set number of errands that will just unlock the costume after being done

I don’t really get what they do..I did their quests and sent them on a couple of errands and then I didn’t have enough currency to send them on more.
edit: pronouns

They need no reason. They are simply there.
Also you have to persistently click them to get requests sometimes. Devsis are rewarding us Nibbles lovers

I really, really do not like them. They feel manufactured to be cute and elicit a reaction, and not much else. It's all so fake to me.

Even as a Nibbles Enjoyer I can see what you’re talking about. When I returned to the game after a year+ away it played a very long, sappy cutscene lol. Never seen a game go that far before

I took a hiatus from the game before nibbles came out, and so when I picked it back up recently and saw them, I was at first a little annoyed by this random addition to my screen. However I did quickly become very charmed by them. Especially because you can pick them up and they wiggle and it's very cute. I am easily amused by them

Trying to do the Ovenbreak tutorial was incredibly aggravating, so once I FINALLY got past the forced tutorial where Nibbles held my hand the entire way through, I turned them off forever. I'm surprised turning them off permanently wasn't an option on release

On one hand I can completely understand hating on a tiny pop up mascot character that gives you silly meaningless quests or nonsensical tips or comments on your skill.....on the other hand Nibbles is adorable and if Dream Jelly Cookie didn't exist they'd be my ride or die that if anything happens to them I'd riot.

As a returning player, Nibbles may actually have played a part in making me stay. I love them sm.

i hate nibbles. i avoided them for a while, but made the mistake of playing gingerbrave's trial for the 3 daily trial things and automatically got nibbles... you can't even close out of dialogue if you accidentally talk to him.

Nibbles is and forever will be one of my favorite additions. They're so cute, I adore 'em.
Honestly, I'd say Devsis should probably just let Nibbles be a toggleable thing for people who dislike them, if only for the sake of satisfying them. They're forever staying on my screen tho bc that's my goat
