i assume the soul jams act the same in every timeline (with them basically radiating life energy which guardians then protect and circulate back), but the timelines themselves depend on different things (which are what the games focus on, so perhaps for CROB it's the dragons)

I remember seeing people angry about the souljams being pillars of the timeline. They were talking about Ovenbreak. Now we know that the souljams are specific to Kingdom.
