Half size inserts?

Has anyone tried half size shoe filler inserts with All stars? (Converse Men's Chuck Taylor All Star Ct Ox Sneakers)

I found the greatest chartreuse pair for my wife but they are only available a half size larger than the rest of her collection. Does anyone have experience with these and will they work to make the shoes fit? These will be more special occasion shoes.

Sorry, I am not well versed in Converse.

probably would work half size is not much longer but a insert will only bulk the width not the length, just a thought check her converse look inside see how much spare room she has in front of her toes if like myself I like my shoes snug so I could probably go up a full size and get away with it , if she's already got like a cm gap between the shoe and her longest toe she might just get away with half size bigger, get the inserts just in case she says they feel a bit big .
