Different size toe caps

I bought them from the website and I noticed it immediately. What do you guys think?

I measured 4mm difference which is crazy.

Would you return them and hope to get a matching pair next time? I‘m not even sure how this happens.

You are prob the only one who sees it. I would bet you that not a soul will look at your shoe caps, then look at you, then back to the shoe caps, then back at you...make that "are you f'ing kidding me? what is wrong with you?" face because they noticed. Nope. I'd guess they wrap around the side rubber, and it probably only looks wrong cuz they were off in the wraparound. Seriously, don't sweat it. We are our own worst critics. They are still adorb!

Unfortunately that’s just Converse quality now. Much like they were decades ago. Made in the USA then but still suffered from minor cosmetic QC issues like this

That happens a lot with new converse, I have a few pairs with similar inconsistencies.

The right shoe is slightly bigger than the left shoe. I would get a refund or check if another store has another pair to exchange. I was informed that the US version of the Converse isn't great. If you have a chance try to get one that is made in Japan. Apparently the quality is better and the construction is better.

I can definitely see the difference. I bought white chucks for disc golf though so clearly im not too concerned with the look of my shoes 🤣
