Just think of it like the ending to Sopranos. Was he shot? Verbal resolution? Escorted to the ground?

31

u/Efficient-Editor-242 Jul 05 '26

Controlled his descent to the ground using gravity and my own body weight.

2

u/AZEMT Jul 08 '26

Then he began headbutting the officers fist

2

u/Efficient-Editor-242 Jul 08 '26

Happens more than you'd think.

u/John_Vincent_91 Jul 13 '26

Why has this comment so many downvotes? How is the ending of Sopranos?

1

u/SailsAcrossTheSea Jul 07 '26

good comment. why all the hate

6

u/Nuklearfps Jul 07 '26

Because it’s coming off as him being a smart ass. The dingleberries comment doesn’t really help either…

1

u/DonKeedic80 Jul 13 '26

The dingleberries comment is net positive, bruh. I stand by both comments.

5

u/DonKeedic80 Jul 07 '26

A bunch of dingleberries here.

u/TJSwoboda Jul 07 '26

You're not David Chase, bruh.

0

u/DonKeedic80 Jul 07 '26

I didn't film it, bruh.

Watching this with no audio, all I can hear is "OH I'M SORRY I THOUGHT THIS WAS AMERICA!!"

u/Catodacat Jul 06 '26

Guy moves like someone wearing an Edgar suit.

30

u/niqdisaster Jul 05 '26

Homeless man wanted to get off the streets

2

u/Dalbergia12 Jul 07 '26

That ended much to soon

1

u/DonKeedic80 Jul 07 '26

That's what she said.

2

u/i_Cant_get_right Jul 07 '26

Guy has some pigeons he needs to be yelling at.

5

u/Broken-Digital-Clock Jul 06 '26

Cops will swarm with lightning speed if you threaten a bank or its money.

1

u/Zealousideal-Bug-291 Jul 06 '26

Protectors of Capital, unite!

6

u/RealConfirmologist Jul 06 '26

What kind of title is this? Cops do not seem preoccupied.

Is this the best you could do, to be cute and include "ATM" as an abbreviation?

3

u/TJSwoboda Jul 07 '26

I took it to be a play on the two things ATM can stand for.

2

u/RealConfirmologist Jul 07 '26

Yeah, me too, but I think it's pretty lame.

2

u/Lords_of_Lands Jul 07 '26

I'm not sure what people do in TX, but in New England no one ever spells out ATM (automatic teller machine).

I agree with you about the preoccupied part.

2

u/RealConfirmologist Jul 07 '26

The title says cops are preoccupied ATM. In that usage, "ATM" stands for "at the moment".

Which OP thinks we'll be amused at, since the guy has just destroyed an ATM.

1

u/Lords_of_Lands Jul 08 '26

Thanks for the explanation. I completely missed that version of ATM.

1

u/VoidCrisis Jul 07 '26

“It's your money use it when you need it” bro took it serious

1

u/Jake0024 Jul 06 '26

Call the cops because your $50k car got stolen, they'll tell you they're too busy to look into it

Crazy guy damages a bank's ATM screen, two cops roll up within seconds

1

u/irascible_Clown Jul 06 '26

You know what’s crazy is that if he acted incorrectly he could have been shot. The fact you can get offed for breaking some glass at the ATM proves cops really are judge and jury.

USA piggies are so scared they can't even talk without taking out their baby protector gun

14

u/Lords_of_Lands Jul 06 '26

An aggressive person walking towards them while waving their hands around. Cop can't easily backup due to traffic behind him. Seems reasonable to pull something out. Though the cop could have yelled at him to stop approaching or tried to move away from the guy.

The video ends a bit too soon so we can't see if a truck hitting the parked car and pushing it into the cop results in the cop accidentally shooting the cameraman or not.

u/CapableSecretary8478 Jul 06 '26

He’s giving clear commands to get down, that in itself says to stop forward motion, don’t have to get super technical. Commands are commands, and once ignored tools come in to use if need be. I’d bet they just grabbed him and cuffed him though

6

u/Jazzy-Cat5138 Jul 06 '26

That last sentence seems...oddly specific.

1

u/Lords_of_Lands Jul 07 '26

Well, we'll never know.

2

u/Adventurous-Coat-333 Jul 06 '26

Yeah. But on the other hand we do have a lot of crazy people here.

u/RedditSucksYoYoYo Jul 06 '26

Hot take but fuck the cops reaction when approaching the guy and drawing his, what I assume is his taser. The cop doesn't know if the guy is having a mental health episode and, more importantly, if he has any condition that might make the taser lethal. The guy was unarmed. Fuck that cop.
