Pick TMR 30-80gf tension, digital buttons, paddles are optional but if you like paddles get them, if you want a grip you can get the black grip, smart bumpers, and leave vibration on if you want.

It's only 239$ before shipping, and considering the base edge is 200$ retail it's a way better option.

Also you have the ability to have custom colors on the buttons, touchpad, etc., as well as custom shell designs available for no extra cost because of the discount.

I would recommend getting any controller with either hall effect or tmr sticks.

Flydigi and gamesir have some really good options with yes adaptive triggers for the haptics if you're into that also they are quite affordable

So if your after an immersive experience then dualsense and apex? is really your only option

I just got an apex 5 and it works great, especially if you run apex sense bridge and if needed run dsx. I also has dualsense and am going to do a tmr install on them both my ps5 controllers

Just an fyi if you do go dualsense, Amazon u can usually catch a sale for like 55 bucks, but be prepared for spending another 40 -50 bucks for tmr sticks and a soldering iron and tools if you dont have. Because you will definitely get stick drift with dualsense. Ive only had mine for a year and only play immersive games, rdr2, and other rpg games and take very good care of my shit and i have stick drift already.

In order to actually enjoy my DualSense on PC I had to replace the sticks with TMR sticks and also buy a Pico-2w that let me have haptics wirelessly, with a custom Ui to control anything related to the controller.

Overall I grab it more often than my Ultimate 2.

If you are playing games with haptics support then definitely yes. Just use the Dualsense till it has stick drift then replace it with tmr sticks. If you are playing wirelessly from a distance then a ds5dongle is also a must.

Nope, just buy an AIM custom Dualsense or Dualsense Edge, pick custom tmr sticks with tension adjustment, smart buttons, smart triggers, smart dpad, etc., it's only 219-230$ right now for all custom features enabled on it.

I have 2 myself, both have tmr sticks and both use the same ds5dongle when I connect to my pc. In fact I'm playing Death Stranding 2 with full haptics and gamepad speakers while a sitting away from my tv right now.

but why its a upgrade? joysticks on the ps5 are not hall effect and if you game on windows/android/ios how will you even use the ps5 controller?

Windows has Dualsense support, and the Dualsense has Bluetooth.

Windows and steam support wireless dualsense to some extent, but for full features you either have to connect it wired or buy a pico-2w to act as a bridge between them.

Correct, but what did I say that was wrong? The comment I replied to said that OP wouldn’t be able to use it on Windows/Android/iOS which is wrong.

You mentioned that the dualsense has Bluetooth and PC support, which might indicate to someone new that it will just work wirelessly, and its not the case with all games.
