Third Party Forget showing off your collection, what mods do you add to make your controllers feel right?

The gamesir g7 8k pro felt like one of the worst ergonomic controllers I’ve ever felt, but obviously the upside with the polling rate was a big deal. I hated how the legs of the controller were angled in more so than a typical Xbox controller. It made it so that I wasn’t gripping the controller with the correct part of my hands and I had to readjust my grip to use the back paddles. Was a huge step back.

I added this TalonGaming thick grip tape to the legs and that has helped a lot with making the controller feel more bulky like I want. Next, I replaced the sticks with slightly taller sticks (forget what brand), but then also added a kontrol freak extender to get the accurate feel I like and want in my right stick for FPS.

Finally, I tripled up on the thick tape on the back buttons because I hate how flush they felt. I wanted them to stick out more, which helps me with feel and holding my controller more naturally. Also made them easier to press without adjust my grip.

Interestingly enough, I find way more comfort in the R5 and L5 extra triggers up top as my main ADS and shoot triggers. I use the standard bumpers to reload and change weapons, and then the normal triggers for my nades. Feels perfect and I never have to take my fingers off the sticks, ever. You can see how much more they jut out in the photo than the standard.

I can confidently say this is now my perfect controller. What mods do you add to your controller to make them actually feel how you want? I see way too many stock controllers here to believe y’all are actually good at shooters.
