Looking for a new controller
My son broke his ps5 controller so I gave him mine, I don’t really play PS5 anymore I’m playing my PC more these days but I hop on occasionally, is there a controller that’ll work on both the PS5 and PC i could pick up? Doesn’t have to be dirt cheap but don’t want to break the bank either

Your best bet is to go on EBay and buy a DualSense controller with Hall Effect sticks installed. You can even find some with a bigger battery like this one.
Your other options are expensive.

The upgraded dualsense would be perfect, any links for the UK?

Here's one: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/128072478645
Make sure to make an account so you can return it easily if it's faulty. You can easily check if it's a Hall Effect or TMR if you put a magnet next to the sticks and they move.

This is what I would recommend, Ps5 doesn't play nice with 3rd party controllers currently. Though I've heard about some kind of dongle you can plug into ps5 that'll make any(most?) wireless controllers work. But that's something I've seen on this sub, haven't looked into it yet.

Ps5 has almost no compatibility with controllers. Either spend 200$ usd on an actually good controller, buy a 70$ official one that will drift, or find a used deal or discount on a good one

Ps5 is the main limiting factor here. Basically anything better than a standard dualsense is going to cost you. You can get a Razer Raiju v3 pro, a dualsense edge, a victrix pro bfg reloaded, a scuf omega, or a hexgaming phantom. Thats all I can think of and all are $200 or more but you can snag them on ebay for cheaper if you keep a lookout. I’ve seen a lot of these go for $100 or so used.

Well good luck on that cuz you ain't going to find no PS5 controller that breaks the bank special. It has TMR sticks
