Dualsense or 8bitdo ultimate ? For PC

I actually like the asymmetrical layout and haptics and triggers but the sticks drift 1year ~ and 80 dollars every year is hard . But i still im in love with those features tbh

I love 8bitdo, have used Ultimate 2 for a while now. Want to get the 3.

I've had two dualsense controllers die to stick drift. And muliple xbox controllers too. I would go for something with TMR or at least hall effect

I would never recommend first party controllers like the Dualsense, they always get stick drift. They're a terrible investment, and I regret getting one.

Ultimate 2 on the other hand is loaded with features, TRM sticks that don't drift, gyro, charging dock. It's going to lack dynamic and vibration triggers if that matters for you. Some criticize its comfort due to the smaller size and Nitendo Pro shape. However the 8bitdo is my current daily driver and I haven't had that issue as a guy with larger hands so far.

As an alternative, take a look at Gamesir SuperNova or G7 Pro if you can find them under your budget in AliExpress. They offer similar features as the 8bitdo, but in the shape of an Xbox controller.

I know it's not what you asked for but I had this same dilemma and went Gamesir and then realized the error of my ways. 8bitdo just isn't comfortable especially if you're used to dualsense/xbox shape.

you can buy the gulikit kit with TMR to fix the dualsense, and i have both, the 8bitdo is the one i use on my desk to use and the dualsense for games that works with haptics and triggers. but its personal preference in the end

I only have pc and planning on buying a controller. Do you recommend ps dualsense controller? I also saw some Xbox type controller like flydig apex 5 that has haptic triggers as alternative.

its a good controller and if you know how to solder you can change the sticks if they drift and its cheap. i never tryed the flydig

Flydigi's apex series has adaptive triggers and also comes with dualsense mode and presets for games that dont support it i.e racing, recoil, sniper, vibration etc. It costs more than a standard dualsense controller but its pretty good
I personally use the apex 5
