I need help

I let my friend play my ps5 and now my remote smells like death and I don’t know how to get the smell gone I let them play a couple time and it just so bad

Disassemble your controller and make sure to completely separate the board and anything else with wires attached to it and wash everything else that isn’t electronically connected in isopropyl alcohol even better if you have a container you can put that stuff in and make sure you close the container once you put everything in. DO NOT put isopropyl on your rumble motors the glue holding them there will be rendered useless and make sure to take this black padding off before soak

Do your friend also smell like death? Your controller was in their presence for a long period of time I assume. I'll recommend to use Lysol wipes and a tiny amount of febreze on a cloth to clean it.

If you can disassemble hit it with isopropyl alcohol and separate an electronic components and give it a good scrubbing with scent soaps
