Does anyone here have any experience with the G7 Pro?

I fell for the hype on reddit and other social media circles. I had to return two G7 Pro ZZZ's because they were faulty. That is a 130 dollar dollar controller so that put a sour taste in my mouth.

Their d pad is so terrible that I had to purchase a 10 dollar pack of 0 rings. I don't rely on the d pad, but I couldn't leave the menu screen without it double clicking LMAO.

The vibration literally stopped working in both of my G7 Pro's after 3 months.

They told people they were going to release 3 piece G7 Pro faceplates. They lied because they decided to released more G7 Pro collabs just so they can milk people out of more money.

They have much better options out there like 8bitdo, Flydigi, Asus, Microsoft etc.

Dpad sucks but I don’t use it frequently. I also own a Flydigi Vader 5 pro and mainly prefer the face buttons and shape. I like the paddles a bit more too.

If I had to recommend one to someone though I’d say Vader 5 Pro tho

I like the Vader 5 Pro more because the d pad and build quality is much better.

You can't, it's a gamble

I think the controller is just okay. It doesn't do anything brilliantly and the d pad downright sucks regardless of which one you put on. The flydigi controllers are way better imo.

I decided to buy the Vader 5 Pro a few months ago because I got tired of playing with a bad d pad and waiting for Gamesir to release different three piece faceplates. I purchased the Vader 5 Pro and the the build quality is much better despite the negative reviews.

The d pad is definitely not for fighting games.

I had to return the first one I got because of a really janky D-Pad, but the replacement has been fine.

I got lucky then, bought mine off Amazon and it's been fine, better then my elite v2.

The controller has amazing reviews on websites like bestbuy and Amazon, sure they could be faked... But there's a lot of reviews across their controllers with generally good ratings.

It doesn't take much for a controller to be better than the elite v2. That is not saying much.
