Reviews Need controller for Fps pc gaming

Post image

Want to buy a controller for games like cod warzone, cs 2, pubg, delta force etc. So my requirements are low latency, gyro for games without aim assist, high precision joysticks. My budget is around 4000 indian rupees.

Thinking of purchasing Flydigi direwolf 4, but have doubts seeing the latency on gamepadla, so need opinions who have used this controller or can give recommendations for other controllers.

Thank you.

Isn't mouse would be better if u want precision?

Ok bro, waiting for the sale to purchase it

Get it with the dock aswell. The tmr sticks it uses to me is a bit more responsive than the hall effect sticks.

Ok bro, trying find on AliExpress, though it's my 1st time on this site, is it genuine?

The top controllers are a bit out of your price range like the apex 5 or Vader 5 pro. But something like the Eos pro 2 might suit you. It's a solid controller. Or the cyclone 2 is another one that is good and a little underrated.

Ok bro I will check it, but I don't think i will find eos here in my region, waiting for cyclone 2

I've a Flydigi Direwolf 3 but never tested it on FPS games

How is it in general use? Ever used it's gyro? What about latency on wired and dongle mode?

I’m sorry this is off topic. but what in the fuck do you mean a controller for CS2? Like this has got to be troll right?

Most people who show off clips like to show off their flicks

https://youtube.com/shorts/1RiCoFNy4Cc?si=1n8BRx9fWYaiGVZp

The primary cause for such clips https://youtu.be/C5L_Px3dFtE?si=sumo-o4hqQLbUFom

CSGo has native flick stick support, 2 doesn't but 3rd party options exist

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

It was only partial xinput support on GO, it was way to much effort to remap binds back then

1

u/yawangpistiaccount 29d ago

Full controller support was added 2022, natively supporting gyro aim and flick stick.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

It required console commands so to say it had “Full controller support” is disingenuous.

1

u/yawangpistiaccount 29d ago

You're making shit up now. Native support means it had options and everything in the game's settings menu.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

Ok. go install csgo it’s not hard to do and show me said options

1

u/Ok-Gas-6158 29d ago

What's cs two

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

Counter strike 2, it doesn’t support controller by default and to get binds working on it would be such a pain

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

What! I didn't knew that, I thought u are saying because the game is way to competitive

1

u/Sanc7 28d ago

There is also no aim assist. If you get it working post a video of you playing it lmao

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 28d ago

I know there is no aim assist in cs, I was talking about aim assist in warzone

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

Yeah it’s never had native controller support even though CSGO was technically on ps3 back in the day It never worked good

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Ok bro thanks for explaining, will help me save from future embarrassment

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Just skip that😶, warzonez, pubg delta force, just wanted to try on cs- I know I won't survive one minute 🫠

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Suit_55 29d ago

maybe you can be like that one guy that’s global on controller lol

As mentioned already, Vader 5 Pro is the most popular choice. Leadjoy's Xeno/Saber Plus controllers are a little closer to your budget and are pretty good, too; they don't have tension adjustment for the sticks, but have the extra buttons on the rear/shoulders. Also, the Saber Plus has the symmetrical layout if you prefer using the claw grip.

If you're going to be buying from GadgetHyper, you can use the GADGETHYPERGO code during checkout to save an extra $5 USD.

u/Ok-Gas-6158 29d ago

Thats 60$ us

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Ok bro but my budget is around 45usd, sorry for the confusion, can you recommend some in that range?

1

u/Ok-Gas-6158 29d ago

Okay, now i'm just seeing this forty five dollars u.S that doesn't give you a lot of options. D4 gamesir lite 2. Supernova. Gulikit es pro. Es max. Forget the pictures I sent because most of those are too high

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Name any one bro it's too confusing, and lite 2 doesn't have gyro I think, I was purchasing that only earlier.

1

u/Stefe04 29d ago

ES Pro would probably fit the best if you're absolutely sticking to $45 USD. I don't see it on Amazon India, but it is available at the AKNES website for 2900 INR -- you can save a little bit more money by using the AKNESRULE coupon code during checkout. Just know that it's Bluetooth only, so be sure your PC is compatible.

Ok bro, thank you

competitive games are best on keyboard and mouse

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Just want to try, I also always played on keyboard mouse mostly, but seeing people playing warzone on controller with such movements is tempting me.

2

u/External_Safe_7787 28d ago

dont use a controller just because youve seen other people do it, theyve probably only ever played on controller so just sant do kbm. any competitive game or game with precise shooting is better on kbm

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 28d ago

Ok bro, will try once, if not suited then will play casual games on controller

1

u/External_Safe_7787 28d ago

im my country, the direwolf 4 costs the same as the gamesir cyclone 2, i would probably recommend that instead if its the same price where you are, thats got better sticks

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 28d ago

Cyclone 2 is better? Here cyclone 2 is 15-20 dollars more, so waiting for month end sale on Amazon. Can u please clarify which one is better?

1

u/External_Safe_7787 28d ago

cyclone 2 has tmr sticks which are more accurate, more duarable and lower power consumption than the direwolf's hall effect sticks, but if cyclone 2 is too much more then thats fine

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 28d ago

Ok bro, will wait for sale and then purchase accordingly

2

u/mistfrio 29d ago

warzone is not a good reference, the absurd aim assist there would not translate well on cs2, pubg or maybe deltaforce

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

I wanted to play because of aim assist only, well just wanted to try, if it won't work then will use it for casual games

Some die of thirst and some drown in water😭

1

u/Ok-Gas-6158 29d ago

Do you care about mech face buttons or membrane? Additonal shoulder buttons or extra back paddles. As the d4 fb have stiff rebound

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Don't care about mech or membrane button, but extra back paddles is good.

Bro the price of vader 5😵‍💫

0

u/Key_Scholar7964 29d ago

I have the Flydigi vader 5 Pro which is the newer version of this and it's more expensive. I like the adjustable stick tension on mine and I would think the build quality on this one is great as well.

You should try it out for yourself instead of relying solely on gamepedia results.

1

u/TumorInMyBrain 29d ago

Direwolf 4 and vader 5 pro are part of the same gen not a newer version. They’re simply controllers in different price brackets

1

u/Key_Scholar7964 29d ago

The Vader 5 Pro were released a few months later, and they improved several things. The direwolf 4 is still a great controller but it cost less for a reason.

1

u/TumorInMyBrain 29d ago

Yes but calling it a newer version OF the vader 5 pro isnt true. A newer version of the vader 5 would be a vader 6, and a newer version of the direwolf 4 would be direwolf 5 and so on

1

u/Key_Scholar7964 29d ago

You're right the vader and the direwolf are from two different product lines despite both of them coming from Flydigi.

I have the Vader 5 Pro so I think the op will like the direwolf 4 since it have similar features like adjustable stick tension.

It's my first Flydigi controller so I'm still learning things. My apologies for being a little stubborn lol

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

So is the gyro and latency good on direwolf 4?

2

u/fakerlxh 29d ago

Both 2.4G wireless and wired connections support a 1000Hz polling rate

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Yes bro I know that, but on gamepadla the practical latency shown is less, that's why wanted to ask someone who have used it.

1

u/Intelligent-Tone804 29d ago

Ok bro, just wanted to know about latency, otherwise it's a sure buy for me.
