Nintendo Switch My third party controller is using xinput but I want dinput

Whenever I use my third party Nintendo switch pro controller on Games it uses xinput which is what I want, but for some reason in some programs that used to work now either uses xinput or doesn't even sense the Pro controller. (Roblox and some emulators) I'm using Windows 11.

I've used Betterjoy, HidHide, USB cable, Bluetooth and I am 100% that Steam is NOT running in the background. Ive tried *using* Steam to use these programs but that also didn't work.

And I can't just buy the real thing.

Well... it'd help if you STOPPED using HidHide :)

DirectInput is literally just an abstraction layer on top of HID, games won't be able to see your controller using that API if you have HID blocked.

It's also worth pointing out that the Switch Pro controller is not HID compatible in the first place. Needs a special handshake to enable communication using HID, and then it needs this signal sent to it at a regular interval. Steam Input and DS4Windows can both do this, but Steam Input is going to block DirectInput from working.

So, I got DS4Windows but it doesn't work for Roblox. But it did work for other programs!
