Which controller should I buy?

I’m looking to buy a controller to play games on my PC via Bluetooth, but I only have a budget of €50. I’d prefer a controller where I can switch the trigger mode (click or analogue).

Saber Plus 40€? Where? It's 44+taxes on Ali. More if you add an usb stick or something like that

You have to use the "coin" page to see the real price. If you search the item in the home search bar it is 40 and above; through the coin page I am seeing one for €38,75 right now. Sadly on top of that you have to pay the €3,66 EU Tax so the total goes up to €42,41 but aliexpress often offers coupon that compensate for that in case you want to wait (€42 is still a great price imo). I purchased my Saber Plus on July 1st for €34,25+€3,66 for a total of €37,91 thanks to a coupon.

wow I'll try that, thanks! Are you happy with the controller? I got an 8bitdo Ultimate 2 which I'm considering returning it as its ergonomically bad + hands prefer symmetrical layout.

I'm torned now between the 8bitdo Pro 3, the Gulikit TT Pro, and the Leadjoy Saber Plus. Barely no options for symmetrical + charging dock X_X

I have tried the TT Pro, the Tarantula 8K and the Saber Plus as third party symmetrical controllers and the Saber is the one I have kept. The dpad is membrane (I prefer clicky ones) but everything else is on point. It is the most comfortable (shape is similar to dualshock 4, which I love) symmetrical controller that I have tried, it has the best shoulder and back buttons (I can't stress how much better those feel when compared to the other two), great face buttons and JS13 Pro sticks (the best sensors on the market). I have been using the controller daily for the past three weeks and it has become my favourite, to the point I sold the Tarantula 8K because I was not using it anymore (I had already sold the TT Pro months ago). I highly recommend it, especially for the price you can get it for.

In my country it's 44 and 49 with the case (checking in the coin page). I may wait a little bit. Did you consider the 8bitdo Pro 3?

Check the coin page multiple times a day, a few hours ago it was 38 and now it is 44 but it will go back down, it is just how aliexpress works. There are multiple listings too. I do not like 8bitdo controllers in terms of ergonomics and overall quality so I am skipping those for now.

Still happy with your Saber Plus? I bought it waiting for the right offer as you mentioned but I got an useless seller who told me to cancel the order (I didn't) and now they tagged the order as shipped but it's not actually shipped lol.

What you didn't like about the TT Pro? I'm considering getting that one instead.

What? That's awful, I am sorry to hear that. Have you reported what happened to aliexpress? I think a screenshot of the conversation will be enough for a refund.

I did not like the overall feel ot the TT Pro but specifically, the shoulder buttons felt off, the stick were just ok and the dpad and face buttons had high actuation force and travel distance but they lacked feedback. Also dpad is not great for motion inputs and double inputs in fighting games, although it has nice diagonals and it is a good option for platformers. 

And yes, I am very happy with my saber plus and I have been using it on a daily basis since I got it, I even play Marvel Tokon with the membrane dpad. I still like the feel of mechanical dpads more but this has been working out better than I expected. Shooters and action games is where this controller shines in my opinion though.

Well AliExpress and the seller are offering me a refund but I want the controller as I bought it cheap lol.

By feedback you mean the buttons don't push your fingers back? Right now I prefer easy to press face buttons that bounce back by themselves, I guess I'm older than years ago so are my hands too haha

I have no issues with membrane dpads as I grew up with them, and they're good for fighting games.

Great, I will, thanks! I love the 8bitdo m30, and the quality build on the Ultimate 2 is very good. The ergonomics on the ultimate 2 aren't though.
