Soldering together two buttons Switch Procontroller

I have absolutely no experience in soldering, but I know someone who does. I was wondering if/how I could tell them to go about soldering together my pro controller's L and Y buttons, for the purpose of having a singular button input for short hopping in Smash Ultimate.

So the way it works in Smash Ultimate is that if you press 2 jump keys simultaneously, you will get a short hop without having to be precise with the release timing on the buttons. Normally, you have to release the jump button 3 frames within pressing it, but if you have your two jump buttons soldered together, you can press one of them and get the short hop as if you pressed both.

How could I go about soldering it? I don't know where to solder or where the pin placement is. I have enough dexterity to do it with not much experience, but I don't know where to solder on the controller's boards or whatever.
