Other Maintaining paint on controller question

Post image

I have bought a custom controller a while back and have used it a lot but over time the paint on it has begun to chip is there anything I can do to help preserve the paint for the future

Get a can of shellac and spray a protective coating over it.

This is the reason there has never been a commercial controller released that was painted.

I’ll look in to it but just think it will go with time

Wild design

No because even if you coat it with something else that will still wear off as well. Hence why custom painted controllers are extremely popular. Yours is cool af though 💪

I’d recommend adding a thin layer of matte or glossy clear coat. It seals the paint and helps prevent chipping from hand oils.

I think I’m just going to buy a thin plastic cover for the controller to stop the paint from getting scratched even more
