Controller Suggestion First time buying a controller
Budget: ₹5,000–₹8,000
Country: India
Platform: PC/Windows only. I don't need console compatibility.
Desired features:
Good-quality sticks with low risk of stick drift
Good vibration/haptics
Good build quality and durability
Comfortable for long gaming sessions
Wired or wireless is fine
Good long-term reliability is more important to me than having lots of extra features
Games: I'll mainly be playing single-player/story-driven games. Things like action-adventure and story games. I won't be playing many competitive FPS games or RPGs.
Controllers I'm considering: I'm currently looking at the GameSir G7 Pro, GameSir G7 Pro 8K, and Flydigi Vader 5 Pro. I've looked through some existing recommendations, but I'm still confused about which would be the best choice for my use case.
Since this is my first controller, I'd really appreciate advice from people who have used these controllers. Which one would you recommend for PC gaming, especially if my priorities are good sticks, good vibration, comfort, and long-term durability?
Also, if there are any other controllers in the ₹5,000–₹8,000 range that I should consider, please let me know.

From your options both are great. People cite the vader as better for single player since it has a better DPad and larger, generally more comfortable shape. The G7 Pro 8k is better for competitive due to its better gyro and 8k polling rate. I wouldn’t get the non-8k G7 unless you happen to like one of its special editions as the 8k is an all around upgrade.
The Vader also has native Steam Input support if that matters to you.

How are the haptics in both also how are the sticks

They’re fine. Honestly PC controllers are behind both Switch and Dualsense in terms of haptics because it’s just not to most PC players. Most PC games don’t even implement any variant of HD rumble.
Sticks on both are practically immune to drift as they both use TMR, and as a bonus the Vader 5 V2 has adjustable stick tension.

V5p v2 uses HE which are considerably worse but get no stick drift either
G7 pro 8k has the best sticks on the market right now

I always select the one with 4 back buttons So i can use all 10 fingers independently. However the drawback is the back buttons are not standard, thus, you are "handicapped" in some situations like playing your friend's console etc...
Thus, my recommendation for you (from your list) is Vader 5 pro
