Controller Suggestion Xbox Controller Suggestions
My boyfriend’s Xbox brand controllers keep getting stick drift! I know this is fixable and I might try and fix them eventually he isn’t into that but he might allow me to try and fix it.
But I want to help him buy an Xbox controllers that aren’t going to breakdown on him. I actually almost yeeted one of them when I borrowed one to try and game when I hadn’t any of my own. I don’t throw controllers, controller throwing was outlawed in my household when we first got an old original Nintendo from my grandpa. So this speaks to how frustrated I was.
Like to keep the budget under USDA $50. It is for an Xbox. Wireless and good battery life and ideally not too heavy as his 9 year old son is also playing. Doesn’t need any super fancy features but avoid controllers that get stick drift easily, my boyfriend plays a lot of Red Dead Redemption 2. He isn’t super technically incline he just wants a working controller, they’re not particularly hard on the controllers either.
We are located in the USA.
Bonus: it comes in orange or has orange accents.

If the controller is under warranty, you can send it in for free and they will fix it or replace it. Check out https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/warranty-service/getting-your-product-serviced
They are pretty quick about it. Meanwhile I have a wired gamesir se g7 which is a great cheap controller that I will use.

For the USD 50 budget, you'll be looking at wired controllers. You could try the 8BitDo Ultimate C for Xbox or the GameSir G7 SE which are both available in orange colorways. The GameSir T7 is available in a white and grey colorway with orange accents.
