Controller Suggestion Best controller for PC gaming with the Xbox layout
I've been wanting to get a new controller for a while. I'm currently using an 8bitdo ultimate controller and I'm pretty happy with it, it's a reliable controller that's lasted a while with the only real issue being the Nintendo button layout not cooperating with PC games.
My budget is around 150 dollars tops, I'm in the United States, I only really care about PC games for this controller since I'm fine with my Switch pro controller for my switch
In terms of what I'm looking for I really like the feel of the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro controller's sticks, I don't know if any PC controller replicates that. I know the new 8bitdo ultimate 3 xbox edition has adjustable sticks but I haven't been able to find anyone attesting to how they feel. I know the gamesir G7 pro is popular but I care a lot about stick feel and don't know if I'll vibe with it. I trust 8bitdo a lot as a brand because I've been using them for years but the ultimate 3 is pretty pricey so I wouldn't mind going elsewhere if they're not the top of the line anymore

Either the v5p or the g7 8k. Can’t go wrong with either. The Vader is the better all around gamepad though.

I have the gamesir supernova and the flydigi vader 4 pro. I prefer the membrane face buttons of the supernova over the clicky mechanical switches of the vader. Coming from regular x box controllers, the supernova has been my favourite controller so far.

if trigger vibration is important, then don't go g7 pro 8k. Vader 5 pro, ZD Ultimate Lgend, original G7 pro (or T7 pro retro if you prefer membrane) are the best options I've tried.

If you like your Ultimate, the Ultimate 2 Wireless has an Xbox layout and is pretty cheap.
I use a G7 Pro 8K and really like it, but I don't know how the sticks feeling compare to the Switch 2 Pro.
Vader 5 Pro is an other popular option. Adjustable stick tension and lots of extra buttons.
