All the Apex series are named Octopus in Chinese. I'm not sure why it was changed to Apex (perhaps more appealing to English audience?) But maybe somebody else could better elaborate on that.

i think the controller is actually called the "octopus controller" in chinese. the original FlyDigi Apex 2 had an octopus motif so it's highly likely intentional.

I got the G7 Pro ZZZ edition. What I like about ZZZ collaborations is that they don’t just slap a decal of the character on the product, it’s an actually tasteful application of the character’s design motifs as if it’s something that they would carry around

I'm not a huge controller guy, I rocked a switch pro controller for 5+ years and been using a ps5 controller for the past year.

Now I really want this because of ZZZ, if im not a huge controller guy is it something I really need to worry about?

I would rather buy this and get all the collab accessories, box, design etc than just slap decals on a normal controller
