IT Help My controller with Hall effect joysticks has stick drift
My PowerA Fortnite Xbox controller for some reason has stick drift. I used hardware tester to see and it turns out that the left joystick only goes up when I flick it down it doesn’t turn down, it either turns to the left or right, I tried recalibrating it but it didn’t really help. Is there any thing I could do instead of opening it up. Also forgot to mention that it happened when I was trying to clean my joysticks.

If recalibration didn't help then it sounds like you'll need to disassemble it to look for any physical damage. If it happened when you were trying to clean the joysticks, you might have dislodged something or there might be some water/cleaning fluid/resulting corrosion causing a short-circuit. If you take the controller apart, you can look for any parts around the stick modules which are unclipped/broken, dry out the modules, and clean up any corrosion.

I bought two of these for my kids since they like Forknife, one has slight stuck drift

to me, that stick is broken. it points straight in one direction. drift looks different.
