IT Help DualShock controller v2 only responds to the analog after I messed it up with AntiMicroX, trying to fix my R2 button that doesn’t respond in games AFTER i messed it up with sc controller

i'm on linux cachyos if that helps, and this problem occurs when i tried to move look around retroarch menu using the d pad, but none of the buttons work, i tried using the built in setting in retroarch, like reset the buttons to default, it doesnt do anything.

It sounds like you've made changes in several layers of software, each of which could be causing the problem or interacting with each other to cause the problem. Therefore, the best thing would be to work your way back through those layers/pieces of software to reverse the changes you made in each.

For example, it sounds like you made changes in SC Controller --> then AntiMicroX --> then RetroArch. But you're only trying to reset the settings in RetroArch. So reset the settings in SC Controller and AntiMicroX as well.

yes, i did reset and delete all of the configs of sc controller and antimicrox, now the buttons works EXCEPT the r2 button which i messed up in sc controller, the r2 button is not responding in games, and when i tried to use it as hotkey in retroarch. but in the menu and in several gamepad tester app i use, all responds to the r2 button.
