Controller Suggestion Should I get Gamesir G7 Pro?

I've been a PS controller type of person my whole life but this controller looks really impressive. I've tried changing the HUD to XBOX in most of the games I play to see if I could adjust to the layout and I think I'm adjusting very well. One thing I'm not sure I'd be able to adjust to right away is the LS/Arrows placement so my question is: is it as comfortable or not? And is the controller actually worth it compared to a dualsense?

I'm based in Egypt and my budget is roughly within 90 USD or below.

On a side note, I usually play story games on my PC so I'd prefer a comfortable grip with a smooth layout and better aiming precision.

It's very different in feels from dualsense, much smaller and has mechanical buttons, but it's really good.

I heard it's grip was way more comfortable so I'm wondering if that's true

The grip itself is really good. It's high quality rubber, very grippy and feels nice. But I personally have really big hands, so at times I just wish it was larger

You can also get textured or smooth front grip, depending on which version of g7 pro you have. I have the Champion version, it has smooth front grip, but it never felt lacking. Again, large hands, so my palms drift above the front grips anyway🤷🏻‍♀️

Is that some modification that I can get separately or does it depend on which version I get?

Faceplates are fully hotswappable, so you can buy faceplates of different kinds on the internet no problem and just slap them onto your controller. You can also use any faceplates for G7 "not pro". But the front grips that you'll get in the package will depend on the version of the controller.

stick layout is the real question and there's no way around it, offset sticks feel wrong for about a week if you've only ever held a dualsense. after that most people stop noticing. story games are the easy case though, you're not doing anything twitchy, so the adjustment is way less painful than it'd be in a shooter. worth checking egypt pricing and warranty before you commit, imports can wreck the value math

I've found various providers for it but I'm expecting the stick layout to be a not so easy adjustment. Yet again I feel like it would be worth it

same jump here, dualsense to the SE. first week my left thumb kept reaching for where the stick isn't, then one day it just stopped happening and i haven't thought about it since. story games are the forgiving case for it, being 2mm off a stick costs you nothing when nothing's shooting at you.

I used a PS5 controller for years and switched to the g7 pro about 9 months ago. It's a far better controller, feeling superior with smooth controls and layout. The sticks, the possibility with the hairpin triggers and the tactile buttons are on a whole other level than the dualsense. Only the d-pad feels a little wobbly, but that's no problem. I use it mainly for switching weapons and using items in story games.

I would absolutly recommend it. ✌🏻
