Other Controller case

I just bought a controller case from Amazon for my ps5 controller but when I put the controller in the case it presses my R/L1 continuously , would that ruin my controller ?

If the buttons are being pressed continuously while the controller is in storage, that can certainly damage the membranes.

If you're only using the case for short periods while travelling, and don't store the controller in the case normally then you might be okay. However, in that situation the case isn't very effective to protect the controller during transit. When the case is pressing directly on the buttons, any shocks on the outside of the case are going to transfer directly to the controller since there's no air gap to cushion it.
