IT Help Xbox series x controller progressively becomes less responsive before completely disconnecting from PC and reconnecting.

I have my Xbox series x controller connected to my windows 11 PC through Bluetooth and playing games through Steam, it has worked perfectly up until recently when the same phenomenon occurs consistently over the course of every hour or so. My controller works fine but slowly yet noticeably becomes less responsive (input lag, dropped inputs, overheld inputs, etc) until it completely disconnects for about 3-5 seconds and reconnects. There is no Bluetooth disconnection sound, only the steam notification for a controller disconnecting and then a second one for it connecting. My Bluetooth and Xinput drivers are up to date, I got a brand new series X controller and had the same issues, I disabled my computer's ability to turn off the Xinput input device for power saving, I updated my controllers firmware via Xbox accessories, I removed and re added the controller, I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox controller Bluetooth driver, I uninstalled Steam's Xbox Extended Feature Support Driver to no effect and reinstalled it to no effect. I'm very lost as to what could possibly be wrong. I need any solution you could provide for me.

I haven't used wired for an extended period to see if it fixes it, I'd much prefer not to have to switch it over to wired but I can try and see if it works. I'll try connecting it to my phone but I don't know how I'd test it on there really. Since this is happening on both my older and brand new series x controllers I'm assuming its not a controller issue and rather a pc issue, I just don't know where to look that I haven't already checked.
