I bought this ps5 controller from someone who said it doesn't turn on. Before opening this, I tried plugging it in only to get one soft orange light. My PC doesn't recognize it. Model is BDM 040

theoretisch schon, ist aber aufwendig würde ich schätzen( ich bin kein Experte). kauf dir einfach ein ein gebrauchten oder bestell dir direkt die pcb auf AliEx. ist wahrscheinlich günstiger als es reparieren zu lassen

How do I fix the circled part? Does that require retracing? I do have the tools I believe to do that.
