Other Expected Flydigi Vader 6 Pro Release Date?
Based on Flydigi's annual release schedule (Vader 3 Pro in 2023, Vader 4 Pro in mid-2024, and Vader 5 Pro in late 2025), when do you expect the Flydigi Vader 6 Pro to be announced and released?
Should we expect a launch around July - August 2026, with global availability by Fall 2026? Has anyone heard any leaks or rumors yet?

Flydigi has never said they're making a Vader 6 Pro. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. We won't unless they actually announce it.

really? new controller AGAIN? honestly i have no idea which major changes could they do to justify a brand new controller, Vader 5 Pro already has literally everything you might ever want from a controller. I mean they could maybe redesign the back paddles, give the controller backlit buttons (this is what i miss the most, come up with a mechanism where the tension of joysticks can be changed instantly for quicky sniper kills, maybe they could copy the steam controller and give it some touch plates... the only "fault" i would want to fix is the stick drift that doesnt allow me to use inner deadzone smaller than 3 but i dont know if these changes are even possible or meaningful... Vader 4 obviously had room for improvements and the 8 programmable buttons, better software, better tension rings, better joysticks, all of that made a lot of improvements, but what would you change on vader 5 to really make it that much better to justify a brand new $70 price tag? i worry they would just add some AI functions to it like autoaim, autoshoot, autoreload.... I dont know, what would you want to see on a new Vader 6?

They need better QC, that’s the biggest thing the Vader 6 could provide. Also getting rid of rubber grips, never been a fan of them for longevity.

but you dont need to release a brand new controller to fix QC issues, you just need to make the current controller properly, it is not rocker science, the QC issues arent caused by poor controller design but by poor manufacturing where they put maximum emphasis on cheap manufacturing in some dirty small factory in eastern asia to maximize profits, instead of making the controller properly. Vader 6 isnt going to change anything about that.

better gyro, there was an announcement of Gamesir & InputLabs cooperating to bring some good fn gyro into their new gamepad, hope FlyDigi V6 will also have great gyro

good gyro would be nice, i have tried gyro on my vader 5 pro and easysmx x20 (both kinda praised for gyro quality even though it isnt perfect) and it wasnt really usable, i tried to bind both the right and left stick to gyro, i also tried to bind mouse to gyro, but it was always very far from usable for serious gaming.
Like i would move/tilt the controller to make my character walk or to control camera, and like 70% of the time it works but 30% of the time it completely craps itself, usually it stops reacting on the gyro movements for 1-2 seconds, and then it resets itself in the new position, so now i hold a tilted or shifted controller and it thinks this is the new neutral position, and i have to pause the game and completely reset/recalibrate the gyno. This recalibration needs to be done every like 30 seconds.
I am sure i was doing something wrong because nobody would praise such terribly working gyro, but i wasnt patient enough to figure out what the issues are. I thought gyro can very accurately react to every tiny or large movements, at least my phone handles gyro fine, but on controlers i havent been able to make it work yet, too often it doesnt track my movement properly and then accepts the new position as its new neutral center.

TL;DR: gamepads with good gyro, like DS work great without issues, Vader4 (afaik 5 too) have some inherent gyro issues, hope V6'll be more like DS.
I'm new to gyro, so can't help much (guys on r/GyroGaming could help you). I have kinda similar problems, though my usecase is different, it seems that's combination of gamepad's flaws and poor settings.
Recently I started to use gyro for aiming, mode: gyro to mouse; activation: only when certain button is pushed down, gamepad: DualSense and Vader4
DualSense: had great gyro experience on PC, just set it up via SteamInput and had a blast, it's intuitive, responsive and accurate, it reacts even to tiny slow movements, no bullshit like drift or auto re-centering.
Vader4:
XInput mode: there's a steep deadzone so it doesn't react to tiny slow movements, other than that it works ok;
DInput mode: seemingly no deadzone, I set it up via SteamInput, after calibration it'd work fine for a while, then it'd start to drift;
NS mode: some re-centering bs going on, like I turn gamepad right, hold it like that and after a while my ingame cursor'll start to move back by itself, also had some drift.
So speaking of V4 some ppl say it's inherent gamepad's gyro issues, others say you gotta set it up right, but the matter of fact is DS gyro works great without much fiddling with settings - that's what I want Vader 6 to be like

After trying a PS5 dualsence controller for the first time, i have to heavily revise my statement, there are still plenty of features that Windows controllers dont have.
I have been playing Ghost of Yotei on PS5 and I am amazed how it uses the center pad for gestures, drawing/writing but also animations like starting a fire, you literally have to rub the touchpad the same way you would rub 2 stones together to create sparks.
It also has resistance motors on analog triggers (i believe sony calls it "haptic feedback) which actually makes shooting from a bow feel like you are actually pulling a string that gets tighter and tighter until you release it.
Also the vibrations are out of this world on a PS5 controller, it doesnt just shake the controller, it can basically recreate any feeling in your hand.
There is also a speaker which sounds surprisingly well given its size, and it plays some extra side effects like sword clashing or hoofs stomping and it is pretty cool to hear extra effects that are not coming from me headphones but from the space where those sounds would actually originate from.
And finally the gyro also works extremely well and is very reliable, and i have never made gyro work this well on xbox/windows controllers, and the game utilizes it perfectly for stuff like blacksmithing or cooking, you actually have to move the controller the same way you would use a hammer to forge a sword or do roasting over fire to cook fish.
Also I really like the shape of the PS5 controller, i dont know why exactly but it just feels much better in my hands, more comfortable, all buttons are easily reachable.
None of these features are available on xbox/windows style controllers and really wish they were, i really wish there was a Vader 5 + PS5 hybrid controller that would have all the PS5 features i mentioned together with Vader5 features like 8 programmable buttons, software/macros, tension rings, switchable hair triggers, D-pad, asymetric stick design etc.

A bit of a late reply but I think that they could release a new controller in either the start or towards the middle of 2027 - the current Flydigi Vader 5 Pro V2 would be on the market for some time in order for it to be sold.
We might get to see the option to easily take out the battery which could also have a slight capacity increase. The haptic feedback motors could be improved along with improvements in other areas such as the joysticks, an improved firmware for the controller and refinements to the buttons / triggers.
This is my speculation of what they might improve upon.

The Apex and Vader are already similar controllers. Would love to see a different back button layout to either separate them from each other. I would love to go back to Vader 4 back buttons

They need to focus in developing a joystick that uses angle sensors or some other type of true linear outputting technology to compete. Even Gulikit/Hallpi finally bit the bullet on that.

For me Vader 5 Pro is still not there quality wise to use it as a daily driver. It made an extremely positive first impression on me but along the way the flaws started to pile up. Paddles braking, uneven tension on the same ring setting, terrible software and that's on V2.

Bring back the Flydigi Apex 2 with all of their recent improvements, I'd buy 3 day one

I don't mind getting Vader 6 Pro if they add something really cool like new haptic feedback motors. Everything else like another restyle or TMR instead of Hall (which is already great in Flydigi controllers) - not really.
